Brand new year has brand new surprises for Chevy as they launched the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid. This  full-size American pickup is perhaps the most utilitarian vehicle on the market to date. Good thing General Motors made sure the first pickup trucks that use its Two-Mode Hybrid system would be nearly as capable as their non-hybrid brethren was actually introduced for the 2009 model year up to the present . Mainly when talking about the capacity of the truck it can tow up to 6,100 pounds, the bed can haul a little more than 1,400 pounds and still deliver 20 mpg city/23 mpg highway with a combined rating of 21 mpg. While some in the environmental community don’t understand there are occasions when fuel economy has to be forfeited in the name of capability, trades people, commercial users, farmers and ranchers need pickup trucks.

When it comes to power, we all know about the trucks. Brute. Tough. Power. If it’s turbocharged enthusiasm, both the Corvette and Cobalt seem to rustle up plenty of interest. We’re talking about serious versatility. However what else should you expect in what is seen as the “All-American brand?” Chevy Spoilers are versatile as well, shotgunning some fast style to a whole assortment of vehicles. GM  brings to the table a wide range of models that are capable of taking over the road in several different ways.
